The Truck Division of The Haynes Group is looking for:
APPRENTICE VAN & TRUCK TECHNICIANS
MAIDSTONE, ASHFORD & CANTERBURY

We are inviting applications for the position of Van & Truck Apprentice with this company.

The apprenticeship would involve a full three-year programme of training both “on the job” and away at Iveco’s (the manufacturer’s) training school. On completion of the course a successful apprentice would be able to diagnose, repair, service and maintain the full range of commercial vehicles from 3.5 tonne vans up to 44 tonne tractor units and trailers.

The apprenticeship takes the form of a continuing on the job training programme supported by six, one-week residential block release training courses at the manufacturer’s premises in Winsford, Cheshire.

The course focuses on technical diagnosis work incorporating the use of laptop computers as well as traditional mechanical work.

Throughout the apprenticeship you would be expected to work a 39-hour week for which you will be paid. Some overtime opportunities may exist.

Applicants must have passed their driving test and hold a clean car driving licence.
