Purchasing / Procurement Administrator
Harrietsham - Maidstone
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will be working as part of a team within a small production / warehouse operation. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate working experience in a purchasing based position
The Role
This role is suitable for someone with commercial awareness and an ability to relate to technically orientated products.
• Responsible for placing orders with suppliers and managing timeframes.
• Accountable for using and ordering with stock control systems, Lakeview, SAP, Navision or equivalent.
• Monitoring stock performance and product availability.
• Ensuring stock is available and identifying potential stock issues.
Skills and Experience
• Confident at using excel.
• Must be computer literate.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferable relevant purchasing experience.
• Desirable procurement, buying, stock control or supply chain planning experience.
• Excellent organisational skills.
