Our client in Sittingbourne is looking for a well experienced maintenance engineer to join their well known recycling company. The candidate will be reporting to the Engineering and Project Manager with many key important duties but also to work within a team of 4 engineers.
The main purpose of this role is to maintain and repair all mobile and fixed plant machinery on site.
Main duties;
Able to draw attention to management regarding any defects, concerns and problems with equipment.
Able to carry out planned maintenance on plant equipment and complete them as directed by the engineering manager.
Able to attend breakdowns, diagnose defects as well as repair and rectify the defect.
Able to comply with safety notices and to ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner at all times.
Ensure all PPE and safety equipment is used at all times.
This is a fulltime permanent position.
