This busy replacement window, door and conservatory company is looking to recruit an experienced and confident Installation Coordinator/ Manager to work within their Thanet office. You will be the main point of daily contact between the customer, installation teams and product suppliers. A highly organised way of working is essential for this position.

For the Installations Manager, the day starts early at 7.30 in order for you to ensure that the installation teams have everything they need before they begin work. Any special order items, or customer changes need to be checked. After this, the day will involve you checking new sales before ordering the products and confirming delivery dates. At this stage, you will liaise with the customer to confirm on-site installation dates and book the relevant team. You will also ensure that customers have paid before installation begins.

Previous work in a supervisory/ management position and experience of working in the windows installation industry are essential. Additional knowledge of construction, or a similar environment would be highly beneficial. In addition, experience of Health & Safety matters, and an understanding of BSEN ISO 9001 environments would be helpful.

Once you have become familiar with the company’s IT systems, the Installations Manager position will enable you to have responsibility for the success of the whole installation process. This requires real attention to detail as well a common-sense approach to challenging aspects of the process, or order, that do not seem right. You will need to be comfortable and confident using the phone in order to contact customers and suppliers to check progress. A good level of administration and IT skills are required, along with a driving licence.

Throughout the process you will be providing a high level of customer care as well as keeping the Management Team aware of any issues arising.

Hours: 7.30am start through to 5pm Mon – Fri. Some Saturday overtime maybe required. The salary offered will be dependent on your level of knowledge and experience in this specialist sector.
