Position Expectations
To be part of a very dedicated team that is responsible for the care, health, education, therapy and development of the young people in Fairport Care Services care. To work within Fairport Care Services philosophy of care and ethos, ensuring that own practice complies with all legislative and regulatory requirements including Health and Safety as detailed in Fairport Care Services policies and practice guidelines.
Experience of working with young people and children is not essential for this position as full training will be provided but a clear passion for working in this sector is essential. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and undertake sleep in duties and due to the nature of the work must be over the age of 21, the ability to drive would be a distinct advantage.

Candidates requirements
• Possess a good standard of education to GCSE or equivalent
• Good IT skills
• Any relevant child care qualifications would be a distinct advantage
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A commitment to developing relationships, which promote and support young people’s resilience and the ability to develop independence
• Ability to react calmly in stressful situations and able to learn organizational culture quickly

Remuneration & Benefits
• Salary Unqualified £18746.40- £19606.00 (incl. contractual sleep-in duties)
• Salary Qualified £19560 - £22560.00 (incl. contractual sleep-in duties)
• Overtime rate£10.50 to £12.70 per hour & Sleep in duties paid at £63.75
