Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer required in Orpington on a full time, permanent basis!
Salary: £35,000
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week.
You may be required on the rota for out-of-hours emergency work which may include evenings and weekends.
Role Overview:
Installation work on air conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment including VRVs, VRFs, Splits and Multi Splits. Projects range from commercial, high-end residential, industrial plus much more.
Duties will include:
• Assist in designing and installing systems.
• Quality checks.
• Surveying buildings where cooling systems are fitted.
• Customer account management.
• Diagnosing and fixing faults.
• Planned maintenance.
Experience includes:
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration.
• F-Gas qualified.
• Ability to fit a variety of components to systems such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors etc.
• Competent brazing/soldering skills.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and building plans.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces.
• Excellent practical skills.
• Ability to measure accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good team working skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
