Introduction:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join the South East’s largest independent central heating and boiler installation specialist, Swale Heating.
Based in our head office in Sittingbourne, Kent, we’re looking for an ambitious and confident team player who’s able to implement digital marketing activities with a view of continually driving the performance of the Swale Heating website and digital marketing performance.
Tasked with delivering against our annual digital marketing plan, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter that’s able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines throughout the year. The role covers a range of digital disciplines including content writing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), email marketing, social media management and Pay-Per-Click advertising (PPC).
Working within a close-knit team, you’ll be supported by others in the team to achieve your objectives, including training and coaching.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing compelling website content and delivering results.
Main Responsibilities:
•Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to continually populate the website with interesting and topical content including news, new product content, “how to” guides and user manual guides
•Planning and executing an array of SEO tasks with a view of continually driving organic website traffic and leads
•Plan and schedule the group’s social media accounts including Facebook and Twitter, working with the wider business to source content and complement offline & online advertising campaigns
•Driving content for the bi-monthly newsletter, including creation of landing pages and tracking performance
•Scheduling, developing and reporting on weekly customer satisfaction emails
•Assisting the team with the creation of artwork and graphics
•Working with the team and developers to ensure our website is at the forefront of our industry
•Reporting back to the business on website performance
•Other tasks upon request
Essential Skills:
•Knowledge of or an interest in Digital Marketing
•Excellent level of written and spoken English
•Confident with mathematics
•Experience of social media platforms
•Experience in Microsoft Office systems including Excel and Word
Desirable Skills:
•Previous Digital Marketing experience
•Experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics
•Experience in working with a website content management system, ideally Magento
•Experience in using Adobe PhotoShop
•Experience in using Google AdWords (desired, but not essential)
•Experience in using Moz
•An SEO or Digital Marketing qualification
