Job Description: OPERATIONS MANAGER REQUIRED FOR A CONTRACT CATERING COMPANY BASED NEAR ASHFORD

We are a family run Contract Catering Company providing for the Education sector. We are recruiting for a full-time permanent Catering Operations Manager, Monday – Friday. This is a new position within the company, and you will work closely with the Directors to assist in driving the business forward.

We are expanding in 2017, and have recently relocated into larger premises and offices, therefore we envision the role as follows:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for the overall success of the business, including KPI's
2. Implementation of new Practices & Procedures to include all Staff Training
3. Day to Day Operations
4. Assisting with Sales & Marketing
5. Overall general Administration including HR, Accounts, Ordering
6. Client Liaise
7. Social Media

YOU:

* Have a good knowledge/understanding of the contract catering industry, within Schools & Education
* Are well presented and speak and write English proficiently
* Numerate
* Very organised and approachable
* Think outside the Box
* Able to work well within a small team, and also be motivated to work on your own
* Have a good understanding of Social Media
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Hold a valid, clean Driving License

You will be required to undertake a DRB check.

Note - This position would suit a Chef/Manager who is looking to advance their career into a small area/ops role, or a Catering Sales Manager who has a good understanding of the industry- this is a Mid- Management Role.
