The Help Desk at Speech Link Multimedia Ltd prides itself on providing excellent customer support to all users of our online SLCN support packages. We are a small team with wide experience within the school environment (specialist teacher, speech and language therapists, primary TAs). This provides an additional level of specialist knowledge to our support. What we all have in common is that we are friendly people who answer schools’ queries with knowledge, enthusiasm and a smile. Due to the expansion of our services in September 2017, we have a vacancy within this team. Would you like to join us?

Primary Duties

Build Relationships with Potential School Subscribers by identifying potential schools in local authority areas and tracking opportunities, at the direction of the Marketing team. This includes confirming SENCo details in each school; writing, emailing and phoning SENCos to offer free trials; gathering feedback from school users.

Provide full Help Desk customer support to primary and secondary schools using our SLCN support packages. This involves answering phone queries, email and voice messages from both primary and secondary schools.

Other duties as requested.

Essential Requirements

Excellent communication skills to liaise patiently with schools.
Confident polite telephone manner.
Able to work flexibly as the duties change quickly and often.
Persistent, goal oriented with a good sense of humour.

Professional Requirements

Good ICT knowledge.
Experience within a secondary or primary school.
