Head of Maintenance Services, based in Sidcup working for a leading Housing Association paying C £75,000 + £1,300 car allowance.

One of the UK's largest housing associations are looking for a Head of Maintenance in their Direct Maintenance team. This housing association manage over 90,000 homes across the capital and the South East, regenerating communities throughout the region and are set to become London's largest developer of new homes. This organisation has been included in the Great Place to work for the past 10 years and are committed to developing their staff by investing in a well-trained and motivated workforce.

Your new role
As the Direct Maintenance team continues to expand both its services and geography and this organisation are looking for a Head of Maintenance Services to take ownership of the operational service, improve customer satisfaction whilst delivering value for money service. You will take strategic and operational ownership for the service, improving customer satisfaction, maintain contractor compliance and reducing delivery costs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to enable you to make the best use of resources and support the wider property management strategies. You will need to attract and retain the best people and ensure that the Direct Maintenance team have the skills, knowledge and experience to meet the current and future needs of the business. You will have experience of working at a strategic level delivering high quality buildings and housing maintenance service, with the commercial and financial acumen to manage a substantial budget.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered a competitive salary of C £75,000 depending on experience plus £1300 car allowance + a generous benefits package including 26 days leave + bank holidays.
