Structural Engineer (Steelwork and Mezzanine Flooring experience)

The company is recruiting for a Structural Engineer to be based in our Head Office in Kings Hill. The focus of the role will be to assist in the development and delivery of mezzanine floors inline with client specifications, both here in the UK and abroad. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing large scale projects and be able to travel as required.


Responsibilities include:

• Analyse configurations of basic structural components of a building
• Work closely with the sales team to assist in the completion of tenders for large scale projects
• Provide calculation packages for clients
• Liaise with draughtspersons and detailers regarding steel/connection design
• Completion of site surveys to discuss designs and/or solutions with clients
• Generate structural reports and structural load assessments
• Use computers and computer-aided design (CAD) technology


To be considered for the position you will have a Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar) and a high level of numeracy and literacy. We are open to level of experience but would prefer at least 12 months within a similar industry. Experience of using design software tools such as Tekla Structural Designer, Masterseries, Dlubal would be beneficial.
