We are an increasingly successful scaffolding company, just finishing our tenth year of trading. Due to the substantial growth over the last few years, we now require a positive, confident individual to join our team. We are looking for an experienced office manager to provide administrative support to the company’s management team and financial controller. Able to communicate at all levels, they will be comfortable in dealing with customers, the management team, and all employees, either face to face or over the telephone, daily. The successful candidate will also provide PA support to the managing director when required.
Responsibilities:
• Handling of all telephone calls to the office
• Assistant to both the operations director and operations manager
• Management of clothing and protective equipment including distribution to our contractors
• Management of office stationery and kitchen supplies levels
• General administrative duties such as banking, filing, cleaning and making drinks
• Assisting with company insurance and accreditation renewals
• Assisting with insurance claims, complaints and damages where required
• Assisting with the management of our fleet of vehicles ensuring all insurances, congestion and DART information is kept up to date
• Carrying out inductions for new staff members and subcontractors including carrying out CRB checks and driving licence checks
• Managing the training matrix for approximately 50+ subcontractors including the booking of CSCS tests, CITB training and HGV tests
• Ensuring all subcontractors CISRS cards and qualifications, contact details etc. are kept up to date
• Booking accommodation and travel for staff members
• Scheduling of appointments for the management team
• Arranging pavement licences, parking dispensations and permits
The Candidate:
• An enthusiastic, confident nature
• Motivated with a willingness to learn and a positive, can do attitude
• Computer literate with all MS packages including an exceptional typing speed and strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Highly dependable
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good standard of education and proven relevant experience
• Great communication skills and an exceptional telephone manner
• Must be able to drive with a full current driving licence
Salary and Benefits:
• Salary: Dependent on experience
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with 1 hour lunch break
• Free onsite parking
• Company pension scheme with NEST
