Reporting to the Departmental Manager you will be responsible for; the day to day welfare and maintenance of animal colonies within a a specific area, to include, colony management, husbandry and animal order processing
The successful applicant will;
* Have great attention to detail
* Be a team player who can also work on their own initiative
* Good level of IT Word, Excel, Outlook etc
* Flexibility
* Physically fit due to environment
* Demonstrate strict compliance with bio-security, Home Office, AAALAC and Production processes/guidelines - training available
* Good level of Education
This is a full time position working 36 hrs per week - (will include occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work on a rota system).
Due to location - Must have own means of transport or a reliable means of making own way to work.
Salary - 13,815 p.a. (increasing to 14,190 1st April)
