My Client, a company with an enviable position in their market sector, is now looking to recruit a Senior Packaging Technologist to be part of the TPD team, responsible for the industrialisation of projects in line with Factory timings, as well as being responsible for the compilation and issue of all component & finished goods specifications.

The Role: Senior Packaging Technologist

Ensure that all projects are progressed and results are documented
Identify the need for, and manage the execution of line trials
Ensure that Logistics Data is available, accurate and on time
Work with customers to progress project tasks & attain approvals
Be a technical expert to business customers & partners.
Ensure that the defined testing & approval procedures are followed
Ensure that all TPD issues are communicated effectively
To lead continuous improvement with packaging suppliers to improve quality,
Actively seek innovation in terms of process and packaging
Approve drawings and artworks
Ensure that the Company is compliant with the European Directive for the Environment
To support finished goods and components post launch phase
Participate in the induction process
Support the running of the TPD laboratory within the framework of Health & Safety
Manage you team

Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Senior Packaging Technologist

FMCG Industry experience
Ideally educated to Degree/HNC/Packaging Diploma level.
Demonstrates experience in technologies
Excellent and proven project management skills.
A clear & concise communicator at all levels of the organisation
Able to negotiate and influence others.
Is logical, pragmatic & process driven.
Good knowledge of injection moulding and blow moulding tooling
Demonstrates a competent level of knowledge of printing processes
Demonstrates a competent level of knowledge of the impact of packaging design
Advanced level of Word, Excel and MS Project knowledge
