Fitness Manager
Based at the Stour Centre
Average of 37 hours per week
Salary: £22,000-£25,000 per annum

We are looking for a highly self-motivated experienced Fitness Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the effective and smooth operational management of the fitness suite at the Stour Centre, to manage the health and fitness group exercise programme and to develop and promote the services provided within these areas to meet customer needs.
You will also need to provide support to staff at the Julie Rose Stadium to ensure a corporate approach in service delivery within health and fitness. In addition to this knowledge of Exercise on Referral programmes would be an advantage.
As the Fitness Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the gym on a day to day basis. You will be expected to manage and develop the health and fitness team, maintain excellent levels of customer service, and ensure policies and procedures are applied in an efficient manner. It would be an advantage to have supervisory experience in a similar role and demonstrable appreciation of high service standards. Responsibilities will also include setting and monitoring financial business targets and you will also have the ability to train staff in retention techniques.
You will act as part of the centre management team at the Stour Centre and will be required to cover the operational requirements of the facility when required.
