This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Head of Hosting and Network Services for a leading FTSE 100 organisation who are a market leader within the insurance sector within a leadership and strategy role acting as the SME managing third party suppliers as well as an internal team of SME`s.

You will be responsible for Hosting and Network Services working closely with third party suppliers to manage the delivery and ongoing improvement of Hosting & Network services by 3rd party vendors and the provision of these services to support access for our users to applications as well as contributing to the overall strategy for Hosting & Network services. This will include managing the services during a period of transformational change.
 
Key accountabilities will include providing oversight of the implementation and running of all Hosting & Network services, ensuring that the currency of the environment is within DLG`s appetite for risk, building, managing and maintaining strategic outsourcing supplier relationships and services and developing and owning a strategic roadmap for Hosting & Network Services in conjunction with the Architecture & Strategy team and define discrete projects to realise the strategic vision. You will also be responsible for the ownership of the Hosting and Network Services budgets.

Suitable applicants will have previous experience of heading and managing a department within Infrastructure Services ideally within a Hosted / Network Services Department for an enterprise scale organisation with high availability and regulatory requirements as well as experience of interacting with an Outsourced Provider dealing with a Live Service environment. It is also possible that suitable applicants will be working for an outsourcing provider as Head of Network Teams. Previous experience of Leading a department through a Transitional programme and setting clear goals is also essential. Any experience of deivisng the strategy of a Clould implementation to Azure and AWS would also be highly beneficial. 

This ia senior role and it is likely that you would currently be within a Head of Infrastructure position with a strong focus on strategy, costing and transformational change. Strong people management and leadership skills are also essential.
