Highway Care are seeking a Business Systems Coordinator to act as the business' representative for Quality, Environment and Health & Safety in relation to the management systems, ISO 9001, NHSS's, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
Duties will include:
Implementing, maintaining and controlling the BMS and where required other business systems
Ensure systems are transitioned to any updated versions
To audit systems and the systems of contractors or partner organisations
Assist in raising non-conformance reports and providing support to devise corrective and preventative actions
To facilitate and manage documentation revision and generation in compliance with good documentation practices
To liaise with suppliers to pursue completed non-conformance reports
To continuously improve the systems by seeking out new systems or making current systems more efficient
To ensure that the business' top management/leaders are aware of their responsibilities under the requirements on those systems
To assist in supporting the Operations, Engineering, Health & Safety and transport department / teams as required
To promote the benefits on those systems and champion continual improvement
To support the Health and Safety Manager with compliance (HSQE) and deputise in his absence
Specific Requirements:
Experience of implementing, maintaining and improving ISO9001:2008, 14001:2004 or OHSAS 18001:2007
Experience/knowledge of the 2015 revisions of ISO 9001 or 14001 and transitioning them
Formal auditing qualification with experience
Excellent communications skills with the ability to work on your own initiative
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work and influence
Team player with a positive attitude
A methodical approach to processing information in a systematic way and tenacity in completing action deadlines
Preferably you will have:
A H&S Qualification - IOSH, NEBOSH, NCRQ etc
Quality Management qualification
Environmental qualification
CQI, IOSH and or IEMA Membership
Car is essential due to the location, there will also be a requirement to visit other sites from time to time.
