The Group Customer Database team work as part of Saga Group IT. Our core responsibility is with managing the Single Customer View (SCV), which is central to a number of key areas across the business including CRM, Campaign Management and My Saga.
We work with stakeholders from across the business units to include, by not limited to, Insurance, Travel, Financial Services and Publishing as well as related third parties and internal departments. The GMD receive all customer transactions, transposing these into a SCV by ensuring data quality, customer survivorship and customer cleansing. This data is then republished for use by the business.
This role requires the jobholder to have a basic IT foundation supported by the ability to demonstrate that they can independently manage their allocated workload. The jobholder will work on the new Adobe application as well as monitoring the interfaces. This role requires a proactive person who is adaptable and able to effectively communicate their ideas and recommendations to other team members and/or project stakeholders.
