Our Kent based client is looking to recruit a Business Development professional to join their outstanding growing business.
In this consultative business development role you will be 90% office based and 10% field based at sales meetings.
* New business focused - generation from outbound activity - cold calling/emailing
* Advising and recommending tailor made services
* Retain and develop all accounts won
* Leverage companies position within established sectors, break into less developed areas
* Arrange and run meetings where necessary
* Produce formal written quotes and tender responses
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working within a similar business development role (IT experience would be an advantage but is by no means essential)
* Must have a consultative approach and be able to build solid relationships
* Have the ability to work autonomously with self-drive and ambition
* Be passionate about providing fantastic service
* Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Good time-management and prioritisation skills
* Be innovative, a lateral thinker who has a positive attitude
* A full UK driving licence
