Our West Kent based client is looking to recruit an experienced Part time Engineering Manager basis to join their highly successful business.

Reporting directly to the board and contributing to the Management team your role and responsibilities will include;

* Measure and report to the Board of Directors against objectives.
* Report on change, risk and any issues to the board
* Recruitment and induction of staff
* Implement and manage appropriate training and development of individuals and the workshop teams to achieve maximum efficiency and achieve appropriate quality standards.
* Ensure that the company's health and safety standards and procedures are met.
* Achieve high quality and to measure and record the quality of the whole Service division.
* Develop and enhance processes in conjunction with business development
* Implement methods to improve levels of efficiency over a set period.
* Introduce standardised methods of working and efficient processes.
* Develop and implement more innovative methods of working to increase throughput and productivity.
* Financial responsibility; monitoring budgets and spend
* Assist the sales team in the preparation of plans, proposals and quotations to existing and new customers
* Forward plan for new contracts
* Provide assistance in the development of new services and introduction of new products
* Develop new and innovative methods of working to increase productivity

You will be;

* An experienced Engineering Manager
* Ideally posses an engineering qualifaction
* Excellent people management and mentoring abilities
* Have excellent communication skills with experience reporting at board level
* Be personable, highly organised and driven
