Accounts/Office Assistant required to work in a busy Golf Club office
Minimum of 30 hours
The post combines the financial, and some administrative requirements, of a busy office at a private members club.
• A thorough knowledge of SAGE Accounts and SAGE Payroll / a minimum of 3 years book keeping experience. Manage control accounts and have the ability to prepare accounts to trial balance ready for audit. Submit quarterly VAT returns and annual VAT adjustments.
• Excellent level of IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) is required and knowledge of specialist golf software would be an advantage.
• You will be joining a team that deals with members and visitors on a daily basis and which will require proven customer services experience, tact and diplomacy.
• Candidates will need to have a flexible approach to working patterns and there will be a requirement for some weekend work.
• The office also acts as the primary point of contact for sales and marketing of the Club services and the applicant will be expected to play a key role in sales generation.
• The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience of working in a golf club environment.
