We are looking for a Customs Clerk in the Dover area.
This is a varied role and you will be responsible for assisting, arranging and completing all associated customs paperwork, which documents the nature of the goods being imported or exported from/to abroad, ensuring that they are legitimate and legal.
To be considered for this role you will have:

Experience of working as a Customs Clerk
*
Good understanding of road and sea freight processes including customs entry creation
*
Experience of managing deadlines and sometimes difficult situations, an element of negotiation is required in order to be able to meet timescales
*
Helping to organise all shipments with customers and their customers across the world, ensuring costs and documentation are as scheduled
*
Customer invoicing
*
Contact and organise services with our partners and suppliers in behalf of our customers
*
Dealing with internal and external stakeholders
This role will involve working shifts.
