Due to the re-location of our Account Manager The Food Machinery Co Ltd are actively seeking a replacement to work at our premises in St. Mary Hoo. The Food Machinery Company are a well established company who specialise in food processing and packaging machinery to the Food Processing sector throughout the UK and Ireland.
Role requirements :
• Minimum AAT qualified
• Excellent working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll
• Intermediate / Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
• Managerial experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Financial Accountant / Management accounts experience
• Accurately maintain the accounting ledgers
• Able to provide a high level of service and support to clients
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with colleagues, clients and external parties
• Sales and Purchase Ledger

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of :-
• Accurate and timely reporting of monthly management accounts
• Payroll experience
• Preparing statutory accounts
• Daily bookkeeping
• Liaising with third parties such as HMRC
• Preparing VAT Returns
• Assisting the Managing Director in the planning and completion of accounts and audit work
• Credit Control and Bad Debt Management
• Daily accounting responsibilities of the finance department
• Company cash flow forecasting
• Foreign currency payments to overseas suppliers

Benefits will include:-
• Salary package will be from £23,250 p.a. plus PPE, Workplace Pension, Sick Pay, 25 days paid leave plus statutory holidays
• Above is full-time but part time would be considered for the right candidate
• All respondents to this position must be eligible to live and work in the UK
• Own transport required due to the rural location of The Food Machinery Co Ltd
