Software Development Manager

An ever expanding international group are looking to hire a software development manager to join their UK office. You would be likely to be seeking your first role as a development manager or looking to build on some previous project/staff management. The development manager would be responsible for the growth of a team of developers. The current team consists of three developers however will shortly be expanding. The responsibilities of the development manager will be to lead the team as well as ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. Your existing experience in development will help you understand the architecture of the cloud platform to support the development team hands-on. The role encourages the creation of new content and processes whilst maintaining current releases. You may be asked to perform research development.
Responsibilities:
· Create a focused cloud development team
· Manage the delivery of products through time and resource management
· Hands-on development when required
· Liaising with the international dev teams
· Project management
· Build a QA framework for products
· Improve existing practice to optimise efficiency
· Create internal reports
· Line management
The Ideal Candidate:
· Experience as a lead developer
· .NET (C# or VB.NET)
· Visual Studio
· XML
· JSON
· HTML/CSS
· GIT
· JavaScript
· Good communication skills
Advantageous skills:
· Cloud Computing experience
· Experience in an Agile environment
· VSCode
· SOAP
· Web API
· AJAX
· AngularJS
· JQuery
· SVN
