Fabulous opportunity with a global manufacturing organisation for a Supply Planner with French fluency essential.
This is an exciting new role due to continued expansion of the existing team of 5/6.
Main Purpose of the Role:
This role will focus on supply planning of allocated brands for the UK and French markets for co-packed items (ie. finished products made by external suppliers).
The Supply Planner will be key in inventory management and product lifestyle management and the S&OP process (Sales and Operations Planning).
The Supply Planner has specific responsibility for preparing forecast schedules, placing replenishment orders and ensuring these are expedited or delayed as necessary, with all information kept updated on SAP system.
The Ideal Candidate:
Will have received a higher level general background education
French fluency essential.
Proficiency with SAP.
Knowledge and expertise or MRP list management in SAP.
Experience of placing orders using SAP and following up with suppliers.
High levels of numeracy.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
High levels of computer literacy including spreadsheets, databases, presentations.
Experience in multi-national organisation with cross border team working.
Key Responsibilities for Supply Chain Planner:
Supply Planning, including monthly forecast update into SAP.
Replenishment orders and forecast schedules for bought in items for UK and France.
Preparing information and presentations to monthly Supply and S&OP meetings.
Working to inventory targets for allocated brands.
Weekly and monthly reports of inventory data and general operations reports to local and international management.
KPI reporting.
Enforcement of the S & OP process.
Cross working within team in UK and France.
Working closely with your direct Manager and the European Planning Manager on your portfolio of brands.
Working closely with your counterpart Supply Planner and the other Supply Chain Planning Manager, to form an overall team of 5.
Close liaison with Demand Planner, Project Buyer and NPI team and external suppliers (co-packers)
Close liaison with colleagues in manufacturing operations, purchasing and domestic and export sales.
Interaction with international colleagues to exchange information and advice on supply chain matters.
