We are currently looking for commis chefs for our very respective client positioned in Maidstone. Summary of the role is to assist the chef de partie and kitchen team in general in providing an effective service in all food outlets for external and internal customers.
Duties will include food preparation and service in designated area, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times. To work as instructed on appropriate section and directed by chef de partie. To make sure that all food is prepared to the correct standard and in conjunction with the use charts, as well as good food quality and correct quantity. Making sure that all food items are sent to the correct area on time.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous experience working within a kitchen or similar preferred.
Strong communication skills, verbal, listening and writing. Innovative, pro-active and reliable. Able to work alone or in a team.
Education
Good level of English is essential.
