We are currently recruiting for a Senior Network Specialist for a leading Voice and Data Consultancy in the Maidstone area.

Positioned within the Networks team reporting into the Operations Manager, the successful candidate is required to provision a variety of Ethernet and data services both stand alone and within projects (MPLS/VPLS). To maintain quality, compliance and service delivery standards, liaising with both customers and suppliers.

In order to be considered for the role - candidates must have CCNA qualification as a minimum requirement.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

* Day-to-day delivering of Network Services (EFM/Ethernet/DSL/OSA); ordering through to handover whilst ensuring smooth implementation.
* Project Management of WAN networks such as MPLS/VPLS.
* Liaising with customer contacts, including project meetings at various locations.
* Developing solutions.
* Liaising with Reseller contacts as appropriate.
* Escalation Management with suppliers and customers.
* Ensuring the right environment is in place so that staff are effectively mentored, developed and trained.

Experience:

* Ideally experience installing Ethernet services.
* Knowledge of networking diagnosing equipment; configuration, and testing
* Knowledge of network security and design.
* IT literate - Windows version, Microsoft Office, Visio.
* Network analysis and monitoring.
* Network troubleshooting and security.
* Network and WiFi administration, installation and maintenance.

Desirable:

* Experience working with a support or provisioning desk.
* Experience working in a B2B service delivery role.
* Ability to motivate individuals towards common goals.
* Bright, positive, hardworking team player. *
