We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator for a market leading provider specialist Construction Products
As a result of ongoing expansion our client is looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and confident professional to join their Estimating team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare tender bids and estimates up to £2m
* Analyse the content of tender specification and drawings. Use the information identified to build a costs schedule suitable for use as a formal tender bid
* Coordinate the preparation of supporting documentation required in the tender bid
* Communicate with clients regarding tender and present final submission to client
* Assist in the pre-order negotiation process with the client
* Propose alternatives to specifications in order to reduce costs and/or improve quality and efficiency
Candidate Requirements:
* Extensive experience of working as an Estimator
* Ability to action technical and financial calculations
* Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent IT and numeracy skills
* Excellent time management
