Main purpose of Job:
To undertake the design of packaged pumping stations (PPS), preparation of quotations, liaising verbally and written to customers and to answer technical queries with regards to pumps and pumping systems.
Duties Include:
• Logging of sales enquiries onto our internal system.
• Preparation of full detailed designs / quotations.
• Providing technical support by telephone and email to customers.
• Liaising with the outside sales force for quotation follow ups.
• Liaising with suppliers.
• Liaising with other departments within the company (Contracts department / Service department).
The perfect candidate will:
• Have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
• Have a confident and professional telephone manner.
• Reliable, punctual, team player with the ability to work on their own.
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office packages.
• Have a meticulous approach to all tasks and a keen eye for detail.
• Have an organized and proactive approach to all tasks.
• Experience in a similar role would be ideal. However, for the right candidate training would be given.
• Knowledge of the Water industry would be helpful.
