JUNIOR SOUS CHEF - £24,000 – superb contemporary cuisine –
This contemporary restaurant in Tunbridge Wells has opened to rave reviews and due to this success they are now looking for a creative Junior Sous Chef to strengthen the team.
The ethos here is to prepare fresh seasonal menus using the best local suppliers. Meat will arrive as a carcass and be butchered on site and bread will be baked daily, so this will be an excellent opportunity for a chef who thoroughly enjoys the farm to fork ethos.
Working within a brigade of 5 chefs you will have the chance to cover all sections of the kitchen and be an integral part of the team assisting with menu design, stock control, ordering and training and motivating the junior members of the team.
Previous experience within a similar environment would be a great advantage along with a real passion and desire to work with the finest, fresh produce. There is a tremendously talented Head Chef who has worked within some of the areas finest restaurants so an excellent training will be guaranteed.
