My client is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to monitor, maintain and support all ICT systems, including software applications; Host & Virtual servers; storage and network infrastructure; and IP-based telephony system.

In this position you will provide expert support to users in a high-tech environment, solving complex issues across infrastructure, systems and services. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in exciting global IT project work, which will include supporting a project for a brand new data center.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Proven experience as a Systems Administrator (or equivalent)
* Expert in managing VMware vSphere environments and VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
* Previous experience of managing a medium to large scale Active Directory site (100-1,000 users)
* Experience of managing Microsoft group policies
* Well experienced in managing Windows systems running Server 2003 R2, 2008, 2012 and later
* Demonstrable experience of managing an on-premises Microsoft Exchange infrastructure
* Proven experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
* Previous experience with centralised configuration management
* Good understanding of network infrastructure
* Enthusiastic and customer oriented, with excellent communication skills
* Very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills - must be detail-oriented, accurate and well organized
* Experience of handling multiple projects: able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - a positive working attitude and a committed team player
* Proficient in supporting users, both in person and via remote access

Although primarily based in West Malling, this role may also requires occasional travel to our other European sites.
