An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Kent College’s Construction & Engineering department in the capacity of Lecturer in Plumbing & Heating.
Salary: Spine Points 32 (£30,280) – 37 (£35,104), rising to Spine Point 39 (£37,251) with a full teaching qualification.
Location: The role is primarily based at the Gravesend campus, but the nature of the work will require travel to any of the College sites as required.
Working hours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday), 52 weeks per annum
We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced lecturers to teach, support, assess and offer guidance on a range of Plumbing & Heating programmes within North Kent College’s Construction & Engineering department.
Applicants will have good knowledge of and industry experience within Plumbing & Heating, and relevant professional / trade qualifications. Teaching experience, namely delivering and assessing (at Levels 1 and 2) and a teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain), is essential as well as excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
