Service Modelling Expert - IT 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Modelling Expert to join one of the UK`s leading financial services providers. Offering superb opportunities to develop and progress your career.

Job Description

Working within Live Services for an industry leader where your contribution will make a significant difference, you will create, implement, and maintain a forecasting model which captures the cost of delivery services run within an enterprise scale technology arena.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

-Work with various Technology Services, Finance and 3rd party suppliers to develop a model / tool which accurately translates Service Designs, service parameters and volumetric data into a cost base for delivering Technology run services.
-Understand requirements, priorities and capture the drivers of service costs, and financial and contractual assumptions and data
-Develop and test the model on a variety of agreed scenarios
-Promote the model and ensure it is available and accessible during the Design phase of projects to calculate the forecast cost of delivering run services` based on inputs provided by projects and Service Designers.
-Service Model Governance
-Ensures that tools are integrated to enable effective service and cost modelling.
-Ensure changes in assumptions, costs and drivers are documented and communicated. Ensure the model is kept up to date and documented and that source data is robust, reliable and accurate
-Ensures that contractual information is maintained and updated to enable effective service modelling and to support contract management and contract negotiations.
-Provide advice and guidance to users of the model / tool and ensure Service Design projects are effectively supported by automating the production of service models.
-Maintains a dashboard and provide reporting and other MI for service modelling.
-Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in Service Management.

The Successful Applicant

The Service Modeller that I am looking for will have a comprehensive background in the development and implementation of technology service modelling solutions within an enterprise scale environment.

You will have a sound understanding of ITIL principles, and experience with ServiceNow would be highly advantageous as well.

Communication skills are key, as is a pro-active approach, and you must be confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
