My client, a market leading and ever expanding company, based in Dartford, Kent are looking for a permanent Product Support Expert.

The main aim of the role is to assist customers, end users and employees, primarily via support case escalations and the successful candidate will be required to work flexibly, in a rapidly changing technical environment. To achieve these aims will mean you being a premier subject matter expert and having in-depth knowledge of the technical products sold by the Company, including hardware and software.

The job detail will include, assisting all users (including International customers) with Technical Support, covering both I.T and interactive products and hardware and software matters, creating and updating training material and confidently delivering a two-day service training course, good time management and priority handling, serving as an escalation point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email, attending pre & post sales meetings on customers sites, assisting the Technical Support Manager with the technical design, test and setup of equipment for trade shows and external events, the movement and setup of test products and equipment in the Dartford office and being a part of the on-call rota to support International support requests after normal working hours.

The job requirements will include, past experience in customer support troubleshooting IT & Audio Visual based technologies and responding to customer service needs, past experience in servicing and diagnosing faults on electronic based hardware, effectively find a solution to incidents using own knowledge and all available methods at your disposal. You will be someone that is excited about technology and is keen to help everyone get the maximum out of it and will have excellent analytical and communication skills. A full UK driving license is required.

The desired technical experience will include, Audio Visual (Screen tech LED & LCD, VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort), Desktop (Windows 7-10, MAC OS X/OS Sierra & MS Office), Devices (smartphones & tablets), Network (TCP/IP, DNS, mDNS, Web filters/proxy, Wireless, Wired) and hardware fault diagnosis. Any experience of SAP, Lynx 5.0, Snowflake, Display Note and Android software would be advantageous.

The company are paying a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits.
