This is an excellent opportunity to join our client as their new Director of Finance and oversee the business throughout it's new, exciting growth phase.

As a key member of the leadership team you will play an essential part in the delivery of the future success and development of the company.

You will lead a high quality team and ensure the financial integrity of the company, whilst providing sound financial information and advice, along with assessing potential investments and alleviating any risks to the business.

Your objectives will be to prepare, plan and control the company financial business plan, develop and maintain a strong financial strategy, create budgetary plan, monthly management reporting to the CEO, managing ongoing relationships with auditors, banks, legal representatives, insurance companies and other external partners and advisors and ensuring that the company complies with financial reporting deadlines and regulations.

Skills & Experience required:

- Accountancy qualifications (preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in a corporate finance environment or CA firm
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and innovative approach to problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Sage and Excel (or similar)
- Team player and leadership qualities, able to inspire and motivate
- Demonstrable experience of turnaround and implementing change
- Energetic, personable and driven
