I am recruiting for an Administrator to provide first class administrative support to the People Services Department for a company with 600 employees throughout the UK.
Responsibilities;
1. To ensure all new starters experience a seamless on-boarding process:
*Issue professional Offer packs.
*Ensure the correct documentation is received from all new starters including passport/work permits/birth certificates and update the recruitment spreadsheet.
*Co-ordinate the delivery of the Company induction training programme for new starters and update presentations as required.
*Process DBS checks, vehicle checks and health insurance.
2. Provide effective administrative support to the People Services Department:
*Enter new starters, leavers and contract changes on to the HR database and process payroll notifications.
*Produce people related documentation, e.g. new contracts of Employment, pay changes and other changes to contracts or notification letters.
*Ensure the HR database is accurate and up to date at all times. Manage holidays, sickness, changes to employee details and other items as required.
*Produce and run reports as and when required.
*Ensure all steps in the probation review/exit process are completed and reported to line managers and to maintain the system accordingly.
*Provide adhoc administrative support to the People and Central Services Manager as required.
3. Engage with all our customers, by phone or in person, in a professional and welcoming manner.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
*Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
*Ability to be flexible and prioritise workload effectively.
*I.T. literate - Excel, Word and Database.
*The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
*A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
*Can do approach
