As a Business Development Consultant, your role is to assist the Sales Executives in selling venues and services that are part of a luxury collection of premises in Kent.

As a Business Development Consultant, your role will be to assist the Sales Executives in selling the venues and services that are part of a large group of companies.

You will be the first point of contact for inbound and outbound prospect calls. However, this is not a hard sales role it is more of a soft sell promoting meeting rooms, wedding venues, conferences etc.

You'll be able to converting warm leads and make cold calls from a list of prospects that you have either been given or have generated yourself.

The role will also include managing all incoming event / conferencing enquiries, generating appointments and actively selling the business over the phone.

Opportunity to Progress:

Following successful completion of the initial 3 month probationary and training period it is planned that the Business Development Consultant will assume the role of a Sales Executive, sourcing and attending their own appointments with new clients for the venues, attending networking events whilst managing existing/new business accounts for the group driving new and additional spend.

The successful candidate will be:

- Driven
- Ambitious
- Hungry to convert warm leads and cold calls into sales.
- Enthusiastic.
- Previous sales expertise.
- Confident telephone manner.

This is an exciting role for a candidate looking to develop a career in hospitality sales.

Hours of work Monday - Friday.
