Children’s Holiday & Party Staff
Based at the Stour Centre
The holiday activities at the Stour Centre are fun and exciting school holiday play schemes, with opportunities to get messy in the arts and crafts area, get healthy out on the sports field, wet in the swimming pool and generally have loads of fun, the best bit of all is that you can get paid for the experience.
CHILDREN’S PARTY HOST (up to £8.20 per hour) Ref: CPH
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and confident individual to deliver great children’s parties. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, fun loving and dynamic with leadership qualities and experience of working with young people. You will be responsible for planning, co-coordinating and supervising the children’s parties ensuring a fun and safe environment at all times. For this position the ideal candidate should be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
HOLIDAY CLUB ASSISTANTS (up to £7.37 per hour) Ref: HCA
Applicants must be qualified to either NVQ level 2 or have experience in coaching children.
The post holders will be responsible for looking after children and providing fun activities on a daily basis. Successful candidates for these positions will be enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and have a sense of humour. Experience of working with children is essential and it would be an advantage to have a full clean driving licence with additional skills in areas such as sports, games, arts, crafts and first aid. This position is for approx. 8 hours a day on a casual basis during school holidays.
This would ideally suit a student undertaking their PGCE course or an existing teacher’s assistant looking for school holiday employment.
