Sparshatts of Kent Ltd are a Mercedes-Benz Commercial franchise. We currently have vacancies for Commercial Vehicle Shift Technicians as follows:

Permanent Night Shift: 10pm – 6am Monday to Friday (Dartford Depot)

24h Callout Technician: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday
On call when required (paid at overtime rate outside of normal hours)
Saturdays included on a rota basis (Paid at time and half)
(Dartford Depot)

Alternate Day Shift: 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday
Saturdays included on a rota basis (Paid at time and half)
(Dartford, Tonbridge and Ashford Depots)

Salary: OTE £37,000 - £45,000 per annum
Generous Shift Allowance paid monthly

Reporting to the Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner. You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.

The successful candidate must have experience working in this sector and a passion for great customer service. Main dealer or fleet experience is advantageous however main dealer training is available to the right candidate.
Requirements

• Ability to work to deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. (HGV license preferred, training offered to the correct candidate)
• Good judgment
• Outstanding communication skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Great attitude with a high-energy personality
• Punctuality, flexibility and reliability are key to this role
