Ethelbert Children's Services provide a complete package of care for vulnerable children with emotional and challenging behaviours, encompassing fostering, residential, education and therapy services which has been established in Kent for over 40 years.
Following the closure of our previous Primary School, we are currently finalising the development of a new, purpose built school in Eastry (near Sandwich), and are now recruiting for an additional teacher to join the existing team, to commence this Autumn. The School will be registered for up to 20 children of mixed age mixed ability in Key Stage 1 - 2 utilising small class sizes, modern facilities and set in a semi-rural location with scope to develop a wide range of curriculum supporting provisions.
The applicant needs to be enthusiastic and imaginative with a particular emphasis on literacy and numeracy to ensure a timetable that is flexible, exciting and stimulating. BESD experience is preferable but not essential as support and training will be offered to the successful applicant. The motivation to work as part of a team to develop this service and build a unique educational environment will be essential.
Salary will be competitive and subject to previous experience and qualifications.
