About the role

The Legal Team are currently looking for an experienced Principal Property & Contracts Lawyer to join the team on a permanent full time basis to provide high quality legal advice on all property and contracts related matters to organisations within Clarion Housing Group and to manage the Property & Contracts team.

The successful candidate will undertake all levels of freehold and leasehold (residential and commercial) conveyancing, including the drafting of all property related transactional documents and to advise on legal and regulatory issues on disposals and acquisitions.

About the individual

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

* Significant experience of undertaking residential and commercial conveyancing and providing property advice and advice on procurement/contractual terms and conditions.
* Experience of managing qualified legal staff.
* Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 5 years post qualification experience
* Excellent legal drafting skills
