This opportunity is for an AAT Qualified Bookkeeper/Accounts Technician. You will be joining a business that is a leader in the industry for its sector. This business offers fantastic exposure to a commercial and fast-paced environment, and you will have support from a business that is passionate about personal development. You will be reporting to the Finance Director who has been with the business for over 18 years and who is still passionate about their role, the business and their team.

The company is looking to strengthen the finance team and have therefore created a new and exciting opportunity.
Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Sales ledger including raising of sales invoices
• Purchase ledger, inputting of invoices
• Dealing with customers and suppliers
• Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, weekly bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
• Liaising with clients to ensure all information is gathered and prepared in order to be able to prepare comprehensive and accurate accounts
• Credit control, chasing outstanding payments.
• Payroll preparation
• Liaising with external accountants.
• Collating reports on a weekly and monthly basis
• Other adhoc finance duties

Experience/Qualifications Required
• Sage experience is essential
• AAT qualified or qualified by experience in a similar role

The role is a full time permanent position with working hours from 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
