Are you a passionate and forward thinking Administrator, preferably with experience in logistics, Import & Export, looking for fresh challenge with a global manufacturer, who pride themselves on quality and reliability. If so read on....
The ILC (International Logistics) department are responsible for the shipping process of products to inter-company offices, export distributors and customers around the world.
The Role
The role involves liaising with customers and suppliers as well as their own internal operations, to ensure the day to day shipping, stock management; general office administration and data input tasks required by the department are completed to an efficient and professional standard enabling the smooth running of the department to continue.
The Candidate
This position demands a self-motivated individual who thrives on activity and has a flexible approach to their work. Previous experience in a logistics administration/shipping role is required, demonstrating knowledge of shipping procedures and current legislation.
Customer service is paramount to the role and you will possess excellent communication skills, have an eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will demonstrate competent PC skills specifically with Microsoft excel.
Knowledge/experience of the AS400 system would be an advantage, but not essential.
Candidates must be able to provide their last 5 years employment history in order to comply with my clients recruitment process and Known Consignor status.
