What you need to know about the role

Working in a busy steel stockholder we require a Warehouse Operative to join a team responsible for picking/processing of customer orders and loading and unloading of vehicles by overhead crane/fork truck all in a safe and timely manner.

What we need to know about you

We are looking for individuals with a good standard of education, including the ability to read, speak and understand English, along with excellent numerical skills. You will ideally have experience in a similar role.

You need to be flexible, able to use your initiative and committed to achieving results. You will have the ability to work safely under pressure and to tight timescales. 

A fork lift licence, saw experience and experience of operating processing machinery and material handling equipment are all essential requirements for the role. Experience in the steel industry preferred but not essential as relevant training will be provided.
