Maintenance Planner

We are currently looking to recruit a maintenance planner with experience working in a engineering team, ideally candidates will also have experience of working in a regulated industry. The right candidate will have a back ground either in planning or engineering, with excellent communication skills, a passion for process improvement and best practice.

Main Purpose of the Job
To plan and coordinate all statutory, mandatory and preventative maintenance and calibration activities at the Aesica Queenborough site in line with production schedules to ensure minimal unplanned downtime. To maintain all engineering master data within SAP including asset management and preventative maintenance and calibration schedules.
• To ensure all statutory and mandatory inspections and maintenance work is planned and executed within required time lines.
• To own, maintain and update the site asset register.
• To build and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with members of the team and colleagues both within engineering, operational and supply chain areas.
• Ensure the annual maintenance plan is level loaded.
• Liaise with operations planning department on a weekly basis to ensure engineering maintenance plans are built into the operational plan.
• Manage work orders in the SAP system to ensure proper creation, planning, update and closure.

Skills / Competencies required
• Good presentation skills both verbal and non-verbal
• Good interpersonal skills, able to build teams and work in a collaborative style
• Preferably apprentice trained in an Engineering discipline.
• Preferably educated to O.N.C or C&G level 3 in engineering discipline
• Wide ranging engineering and production experience preferably in Pharmaceutical production.
