Sinclair & Rush Ltd is looking for a new team member to help and assist in our purchasing department. We are a worldwide manufacture of plastic, rubber and foam components. Due to the company growing we are now recruiting for this exciting role.
Key Responsibilities
- Requesting of quotations and Liaising with suppliers
- Confirming stock availability
- Assist in the administrations and maintenance of supplier pricelists
- Seek best pricing through telephone and email negotiation, market awareness and price list management
- Ensure that all relevant supplier details and product price information is accurately maintained
Skills & experience required:
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and communication skills with an ability to work under pressure
- Strong numerical ability with advanced Microsoft Excel, outlook and word skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A self- starter with the ability to use own initiative & work as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and manage workload
- Be able to work well in a fast paced environment
- Oracle computer skills would be an advantage
