The Tech Support Representative will be responsible for Level 1 and Level 2 (after training) Customer Support of clients products. All customer support is conducted via telephone or email.
The Technical Support Representative ensures that requests made by customers are met in a timely and professional manner while providing excellent customer service.
The Technical Support Representative must be able to manage multiple priorities while providing solutions to customers. Shift work may be required. The representative will work as part of the global team with initiative, drive and good humour.
The position will also include additional duties as assigned. Requirements for this position include:
Required Languages : - Dutch (and German would be ideal )
• Technical inclination, eg. someone who has networked their house, has all the latest computer packages/gadgets etc, but may not necessarily have worked in the industry.
• At least 6 months direct customer service and troubleshooting experience (face-to-face or phone support).
• Typing proficiency
• Good PC literacy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in all languages required
• The ability to problem-solve and think logically.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research, investigate and resolve customer issues.
2. Communicate and provide information internally and externally to establish and maintain excellent service to connecting groups.
3. Analyze and interpret data using sound reasoning.
4. Manage, organize and update the support knowledge base.
5. Interpret instructions and issues arising and implement actions according to company policy and procedures.
Skill and Abilities:
1. Excellent command of the English and required languages, both verbal and written,
2. Sound organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
3. Technical orientation and a strong interest in IT. Aptitude for working with computers in a Windows environment. Technical knowledge of Windows and/or Linux is a plus.
4. Administrative, analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
5. Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Adaptable to flexible schedules.
6. Have the ability to work with minimal direction, as a team member or alone.
7. Able to manage multiple priorities.
8. Desire to work in fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.
