We are delighted to be supporting our well established client, with headquarters based in South East Kent, who are looking for a talented Customer Marketing Manager, with FMCG and customer marketing experience. You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day management of all beauty brands across the company portfolio. The role will be challenging but has plenty of room for growth and progression.

CATEGORY MANAGEMENT IS ESSENTIAL. This position can be based in South East Kent, full-time or, split between London (2 days a week) and South East Kent (3days a week), depending on your geographical location.

Reporting directly into the Customer Marketing Controller, you will be supporting with identifying and developing category/shopper data insights and drivers, as well as working closely with the sales team and wider marketing teams to ensure customer plans are aligned with brand/category/retailer strategies.

Furthermore, the role will also involve but not limited to:
• Building customer presentations and proposals for range reviews which will include merchandising/space recommendations and product
• Ensure Nielsen & Kantar databases and tools are kept up to date and reflective of company needs
• Work closely with the Customer Marketing Controller to raise profile of Customer Marketing department both internally and externally
• Attend Sales & Marketing meetings both internally and externally
• Prepare and project manage POS/shopper Marketing and Category Development projects from concept to completion and ensure implementation & compliance
• Work with POS/Shopper/Field/Retailer Media agencies and in house retailer merchandising teams
• Formulate and execute category management plans for UK retailers
• Bring new brands on board
• Work with sales team to formulate customer strategies/tactics and supporting trade plans


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Marketing Degree or relevant/equivalent qualification
• Experience in a similar role
• Some managerial experience
• Experience within Health, Food, Consumer Goods industry
• Good analytical skills
• Great communication skills – able to build relationships internally and externally
• A driven individual
