Based in Laing O'Rourke's head office in Dartford, an opportunity has arisen for a smart, methodical and process-driven Training Administrator to work as part of a shared service team providing support and administration backup to the UK Business.





This is a 12 month fixed term contract position (Maternity Cover) with an immediate start.




The successful candidate will be responsible for activities ranging from the accurate capture and input of training records ensuring standardisation and consistency of data quality to the identification and liaison with external training providers for all of our Operational Training Requirements.

Responsibilities
•This role provides end to end administrative support to the UK Business.
•Answer and resolve telephone and email queries in a timely accurate manner
•Liaise with external training providers to coordinate training in line with requests received from the business.
•Work with the Training Administration system to ensure training requests and course delivery is accurately recorded and tracked.
•Monitoring of course registers and follows up to ensure audit requirements are met.
•Manage Course Registers, Invoices and Training Request forms in line with company processes and CITB requirements.
•Manage the ‘wait lists’ – provision of weekly update to Learning and Development team to enable planning of delivery activity.
•Provision of administrative support (production of materials etc.......) to enable the In-House Training Managers to deliver the training modules.
•Liaise with site contacts in order to confirm and cascade training information and requirements.
•All members of the HR Shared Services Team are required to answer 1st line queries across all areas.
•All members of the team will also have a ‘specialist’ area of expertise and should be able to answer 2nd line (more complex queries) when required.

•Influencing / Analytical / presentation
•High standards of personal presentation
•Previous experience in coordinating events / training an advantage but not essential



Candidate profile

•The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to work methodically, demonstrating a right first time approach.
•Applicants must be delivery-focused with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
•You must also possess the ability to manage relationships with wider HR and business functions , becoming an integral part of projects that relate to or impact on the productivity of the HR function
•The ideal candidate will be able to work systematically with an ambition to improve efficiency by process improvement.
•Previous experience of working in a Training environment an advantage but not essential.
