The ideal 3rd Line Field Support Engineer will support and maintain server, desktop and/or network infrastructure for multiple high profile financial service clients. The role is a split between BAU and project work for both existing and new business clients.

THE BASICS:

Individuals who can provide 2nd/3rd line support on desktop infrastructure and Microsoft Servers, and implement new server and desktop technologies, whilst managing implementation of hardware/software related projects will be considered.In addition, knowledge around network technologies such as LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/P, and ability to work some out-of-hours weekend telephone support via the on-call rota is likely to result in an interview request.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

* Several years demonstrable 2nd/3rd line support experience in a similar role, ideally with financial services sector exposure.

* Experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP) ( Desirable )

* Proven detailed knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange technologies.

* Comfortable working 8.5 hour shift patterns between 7.30am and 7.30pm, Monday through Friday.
